We offer construction observation services primarily to see our own designs become a reality for our clients. However, we have provided this service for developers and lending institutions to give them a control mechanism in financing situations.

DUE DILIGENCE & ADA COMPLIANCE

Due diligence is a common requirement for significant commercial refinancing. We examine property to determine the current general condition, life expectancy of major components, "American's with Disabilities Act" compliance and the amount of money that should be held in reserve for anticipated repair and maintenance contingencies. We identify those areas that require remedial work and assign corresponding repair cost estimates. Archaeon Inc.'s projects vary in size and complexity and include site infrastructure, office and industrial, single-family and multifamily residential, health care, retail and commercial, and hotel and motel properties, in both low-rise and high-rise structures.

EXPERT WITNESS TESTIMONY

Experienced and accepted as an expert witness in architecture, design and construction, to provide testimony in Maryland, DC, and Virginia, including architectural forensics. In addition, Archaeon creates architectural computer models and related presentation materials for court exhibits. This is helpful in claims situations, and in certain criminal proceedings.
